This week was Max's first soccer game of his second year. Last year he would walk along the white lines slowly, pick flowers, sit...and that is IF I could get him on the field.

This year however, things have changed. As soon as he was home from school, he changed into his soccer uniform, and couldn't WAIT to get on the field!! He was AMAZING!!!
All of a sudden he turned into a soccer player! He kicked the ball, tried to score, and ran the ENTIRE time!!!

At the end, he ran up to me practically in tears. When I asked what was wrong, he exclaimed: "I WANT TO PLAY SOCCER!"... poor boy! Games over - you have to wait until next week.

So far, he's asked every day if it's soccer time yet...

 Here is Max playing with Ryan (Halle's little brother) who is also on his team. Ryan did well, although he wasn't quite sure WHAT to do...it's his first year though. Let's give him a couple games. ;)

What a fabulous first soccer game. I can't WAIT to go again next week!!! :D
