Wow, I can't believe my little boy (was he ever little?) has turned the big 6. Craziness!!

We started early (hence the eyes that weren't quite used to the light as I flashed away with my camera...LOL!!

A new movie (which has since proven to be too scary!! Oh dear! Oh well, he liked it for a bit anyway..)

Oh, now what exactly is it?

A REMOTE CONTROL CAR?!?!?! *Note shock of face*

 YEAH!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOY!!! :D
It was a great day - we met Uncle Jeff, Mell, Colby and Shay in London for "Little Ray's Reptile Zoo". It was fun! They got to see lots of snakes, birds and even a lynx! Good fun.
Then afterwards it was off to Max's favourite restaurant...can you guess it? Yup...McDonalds. *groan* Uncle Jeff and crew came along and the kids all got to play in the playland together. Great fun!!
At 2pm Max and Ella went to the library in Ingersoll for a Mad Science presentation, which they learned about how the eye works and how it can be deceived. Then they made a periscope! Wahooo!! We came back to relax, and then had pasta for dinner. I actually made a pasta that Max loved MORE than Kraft Dinner. SERIOUSLY. He was a happy, happy boy. :)
Then of course chocolate cupcakes for his birthday dessert. YUM!!

After dinner Daddy got the RC car all ready to go, and off he went!! He was pretty darn good too! Rick and I were worried that this had a bit too much power for Max, but he did great. He's obviously a natural, obviously. ;)

(He had to stop and clean the windshield every few moments - because "There's NO windshield wipers Mommy!")

Yes, he did try to run his sisters over. But then again, that's what you are supposed to do as the brother aren't you? That's how I grew up anyway. Jeff... JEFF?!??!?!

It was a good day all around. And now, more parties to come!!! (Does it ever end? NO! BRING IT ON!!!)
